Poland Independence Day

Celebrated on November 11, the anniversary of the country's restoration of sovereignty in 1918 after 123 years of partitions by Russia, Prussia, and Austria. This day commemorates the reestablishment of the Polish state, largely attributed to the efforts of leaders like Józef Piłsudski, following the end of World War I. It’s a national holiday in Poland, observed with military parades, patriotic events, and ceremonies honouring Poland's history, resilience, and freedom. For Poles, it’s a day of pride and remembrance, symbolizing their enduring spirit and national identity.
